Dr Tania Thorn
Clinical Psychologist and Couple & Family Therapist
I'm a neurodivergent, dual qualified Clinical Psychologist and Family & Couples Therapist. You don't have to be neurodivergent to be a good clinician in this field - but my clients tell me that it helps. As well as my personal context, I have over 25 years clinical experience, including years working as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and working in a specialist NHS Adult Autism & ADHD Diagnosis & Intervention Service. I currently divide my time between my private practice specialising in neurodivergence in adults and my NHS role.

I provide screening, diagnosis, post diagnostic support and intervention with ADHD and autism in adults. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups, seeking to create a compassionate therapeutic space for my clients to work to achieve change.

Clinical Psychologists are trained to utilise a range of evidence based therapeutic modalities and I have a particularly broad range of experience working across a number of domains, as well as post qualification training in a number of more specialist areas. I therefore draw on all of this to integrate coaching, psychoeducation, neuropsychology, Social Thinking, Zones of Regulation, relational approaches and CBT for ADHD to improve clients' experience of living in a neurotypical world.
